Castaic Film Ranch

97 acres of private mountainous property on the 30 mile zone border.

This is old oil field land and we have several miles of graveled and dirt roads that lead to existing wells, tanks and flat abandoned well site pads. We share nearly a mile of our southern fence line with the Pritchess detention Center-Wayside Honor Ranch prison. Their facilities are two valleys away and can’t be seen from our property. The City of Santa Clarita owns about 140 acres of “Open Space” to our west and we own to the North and east, so no one can build, obstruct, see or hear activities on much of the property. We also represent an adjoining 1,200 un-occupied acres all within a mile or two of the I-5 Freeway at the Parker Road exit.

We have areas to land helicopters, on-site water truck, various dump trucks & heavy equipment and can work with your construction and set crews to facilitate your needs. Other than a few Conex sea containers, oil wells and tanks, it is a clean slate, so do what you want to make it fill your needs and know that locking two gates is just about all the traffic control you need.

Our owner has been working as a stunt driver and stunt coordinator for close to four decades and he works very closely with a large local Special Effects company and several camera car companies. He also owned Picture Vehicles Unlimited fr 37 years, so we have access to a variety of big rigs, race cars and fire trucks, all near by. There is plenty of flat, graveled and fenced crew parking. The township of Castaic is one mile away and offers decent restaurants, fuel & gas, a pharmacy and general services. We are 6 miles away from the Valencia Studios and Home Depot and three miles away from Castaic Lake.
